"SHHHHHHAaaaarrrrkkkk"~

If you see AugustRose, you will see her shark. It goes everywhere with us. She is very good about making sure one of her sharks are in her hand when we walk out the door. It is her cuddly nighttime toy, her security blanket, and when you ask her what sound a shark makes, she will curl up her lips and show her teeth and make a loud "Gggrrrrrrrrrrr." If you look at earlier posts of the girls brushing their teeth, Shark is on the counter, and at ballet recital practice, you will see my girl dancing around with a shark in her hand...

CHRISTY!!

So after our great conversation, all I can do now is hope that you check here and CALL ME....
My email server at school is "cleaning up" and I can't get your number again...
Hopefully you have my number, and if not, email me at mommie2benva@yahoo.com

All is well, now that I am FINISHED WORKING FOR THE SUMMER... Heading to Naples for 4 weeks, then onto DisneyWorld for a week. Yes, we are heading to Mickey Land in August. I know, I know, but I turn 40 this summer and I wanted to get new Louis Vuitton luggage, then after comparing a trip for my girls and a new set of "me-me-me" luggage, I had to choose the trip...

The girls are in VBS this week, well Anna is. AugustRose and I, along with Missi and Fibi shop alot while the crews are at the Church....

ANYWAY, call ME Christy....

What Our Days Look Like,,,,

On our way to recital rehearsals. My gal is just delicious...

Anna had her recital practice today. She told me she was a bit nervous, but once she saw me in the audience she felt better...She smiled the whole time, and was soo proud of herself. I loved the costumes. Very autumnal.

We go swimming everyday. AugustRose can't hang for long. After a couple of hours she says, "night night" and goes to her towel and chair and lies under them.... I love a girl who knows what she wants and does it....

AugustRose loves to go out and about just like her big sister. The only problem is that I can never catch a good photo of her Antics! This is my gal dancing around at her big sister's recital practice...Notice what she has in her hand, IT'S A SHARK. She carries it everywhere we go.

Look at the size of this gal. Can you beleive that she is only 2 years old? Literally, she just turned 2 and looks like a 4 year old...

So this is what it's all about...My babies are not at all interested in letting me help them with their teeth brushing anymore...So I am left to photograph...

It's Hot

This is the Church that was just about finished when I was in Khabarovsk. We couldn't go in, since work was still being completed. But after the 100 degree day we had here in DC, I felt like seeing the snow. This is why I loved Khabarovsk so much.

Cradle Of Hope

I wanted to encourage anyone who reads this blog to take a look at COH's website. So much has changed with them this year. They separated their relationship with Allways International Travel Agency, which means COH has much more control over your adoption. It also means that the hidden fees are no longer there. They were at the mercy of Allways, and we all know what it is like to be at the mercy of a Russian man...Well if you don't, I promise it ain't good.
So now your fees are your fees. No more daily fees while in country for your second trip. No more translation fees, and no more dealing with Moscow. (They held up documents) All in all this is a fabulous change. I look forward to chatting with anyone who has questions about adoption. I adopted in Khabarovsk in 2004 and in Novosibirsk in late 2007.
Best of luck to you.

This is my gal. This photo was published in the Novosibirsk magazine, http://aistday.ru/assets/files/vse_nashi_deti_2007.02.pdf
I cannot beleive that she wasn't snapped up immediately, Lucky for me she wasn't.
If anyone is seeking information on available children in Novosibirsk,
this is the place to find it....

Finally

I realize that the only way to get my JAMS on my site is to plop it right here in the beginning so it ain't pretty, but it's here.

I Lost Everything

Sadly, the website I had kept from both girls adoptions is gone. Verizon has really been on my list lately for charging me for a DSL line at my old house. I moved two years ago, and after reviewing my 22 page phone bill I realized there was something hinky. After checking with Verizon, they told me I should have noticed this 2 years ago..Sadly I never understood all of the charges and thought it was correct. So after two years of paying 44.oo a month for a useless, not used DSL line, I got it cancelled and then they (Verizon) cancelled my current DSL line. In trying to correct there mistake they wiped away my whole email account and webpage. I had every detail of both adoptions and now I have nothing....The page was connected to COH's family page and now I cannot share our story with those families waiting to hear about our journey. Huge Bummer. So I wanted to share a photo of the first moments that I met my darling Anna.
She wasn't thrilled. We all ended up crying. I will post some details about our trips from 2004 and 2007 soon.
